CHEERIOS AND PEANUT BUTTER
Almond bark, peanut butter, Cheerios, marshmallows and peanuts…how can you go wrong with those ingredients?
Have you had Crunchy Peanut Clusters? You should – I dare you to try to find someone out there who DOESN’T love these.
A friend of my son made them the first time for a Christmas party, and now she is usually asked to bring them for any party or gathering.
This recipe makes 6 and 1/2 dozen (yes, I said DOZEN) cookies, so you can be assured that there will be enough to satisfy everyone.

INGREDIENTS FOR CRUNCHY PEANUT CLUSTERS
1 package (24 oz) vanilla flavored candy coating (almond bark), broken into pieces
2/3 cup creamy peanut butter
4 cups Cheerios cereal
2 cups mini marshmallows
2 cups dry roasted peanuts
#1. In a 4 quart sauce pan, melt the candy coating over medium heat, stirring frequently. Stir in peanut butter until mixture is smooth. Add remaining ingredients, stirring until all is coated.
#2. On wax paper, drop the mixture by heaping teaspoonfuls. Let stand 1 hour or until firm.
#3. Store in a tightly covered container.
NOTE: These can be sprinkled with colored sugar crystals or any other decorations that may be applicable to the season.
ENJOY!
Yum! This looks like a kid friendly recipe, especially if you melt the almond butter in the microwave! A nice project to keep them busy for a while over the holidays!
These cookies are deliciously addicting! They are a favorite in my family. Very easy to make too!
